Is it possible to weld the holes up on a billet hub and redrill the hub with a different bolt pattern? I know it can be done with axles but never heard about it with hubs. I've got a shot at some great Viper Wheels for my project but they are a 6x4.5 bolt pattern. Brakes wouldn't be a big deal because I was already planning to run Viper calipers and I could just use the rotor as well. Thanks guys.

Another options would be wheel adaptors? What do you all think of adaptors?
Update... I just did a search and found a couple threads discussing hub adaptors. Based on what I read, seems that hub adaptors that are bolted to the lugs are okay?

Can you drill the new pattern in the hub w/o affecting the integrity of the old or new one?

That' what I don't know. The wilwood hubs are billet aluminum and I would imagine if they can be plugged, they can be redrilled without affecting integrity. I'm not sure though and that's why I'm asking. Maybe someone here has some experience, maybe not though.
I just learned another option is the 65-73 Mustang Dram Brake hub. Apparently that hub fits the mustang ii spindle with mustang ii bearings. I can get those in steel, have those plugged and redrilled for sure. I would prefer the billet aluminum if it can be done, but I don't know. We'll see.

gmracer had his welded in and redrilled by mosier i believe.. or superior axles... one of those axle companies offered the service of around 80 bucks or so..

I connected with Moser and they wouldn't do it with Billet aluminum hubs, only one piece steel. I'll check superior axles. I also spoke with Tobin at Kore3 and will likely have them make up some hubs for me. Pretty good price to do it too.

aluminum should be re heat treated after welding
My aluminum Kore3 hubs have two bolts patterns in them now. One is screw in 12" the other is press in M12. Same bolt circle though. That's the problem you may run into with yours is the different bolt pattern interfering with the existing pattern.

IIRC vipers used 6 lugs

Ummm? Thats the route I would go. So? Do you already have the WW hub? Is that why you are trying to modify? Bummer. I wouldnt modify that hub, ebay it on up and go with some new ones from Tobin. JR

I'm likely going the Kore3 route. I don't have the wilwoods yet, but was figuring that was the only place I could get a billet aluminum hub until I found a past post by Tobin. Vipers are a 6 lug which is why I need the custom hub, assuming the guy selling these wheels will bump me back already...
