I'd like some opinions here. A few months ago, I almost lost a front wheel on the highway. The vibration snapped two of the lugs and studs clean off, and the other three lugs were barely finger tight. As you can imagine, the lug holes on the rim are pretty messed up.

Now, here's the bigger issue. The wheel is no longer made by SLP - it's their version of the old ZR1 5-spoke rim made with 0" offset so they fit 3rd-gen F-bodies and A & G-bodies without adapters. All 4 wheels are 17x8s with 245/45 tires that are about 5 years old and have ~maybe~ 6K miles on them.
So, what's the best solution? I found a local guy selling a pair of late-model 17x9 ZR1 wheels ($100), but they would require using 2.5" bolt-on adapters to fix the backspacing issue (at least another $100), and they need tires (probably at least $300 for 275/40s and mount/balance). Or, should I pony up for a new set of 17x8s (probably Coys C55s or C57s, about $600) and re-use my original 245/45s all around?
Honestly, the car only gets driven about 1500 miles a year. I think a wider wheel in the rear would look good, but it still won't really match the front - it's a close copy. Should I just get a new set of 17x8s all around and call it done?
