I'm hoping someone can give me a hand in Houston. I have Stainless tubing for the brake setup and I have a few cuts I would like to do. But with the stainless, I'm unable to do the 45 bubble flare needed and I don't want to spend 400 bucks to buy the tool. Does anyone know of anyone that can rent out a tool to do this? Or buy and return?

thanks,

Justin

if you can't find one locally you can rent my McCool handheld hydraulic flare tool. it worked flawlessly with my ss lines.

Thank you,

i use the performance tool brand double flare tool. It works fantastic on the 3/16 SS tube i ordered from summit.

I think it was around $40

You can usually have a local industrial hydrualic shop knock out your flares for a few bucks a pop as well...whatever works. I love my McCool and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Yes...MasterCool. It's always nice when you buy a tool and it exceeds your expectations.
