Hi Guys ...
Over the past couple of weeks, I've been checking several things to ensure they work properly before taking my car out for it's maiden voyage ...
One thing that I've ran into, is while trying to verify and set the timing with a timing light, I've found that my tubing coming from the blower to the intercooler is getting in my way and is keeping me from getting the timing gun down close enough to the pulley ...
So, Can I pull the blower belt (or leave it) and disconnect that piece of tubing and still get a good reading when setting the initial timing? Will there be enough air coming in from the intercooler for this to work (add a fan in front of the car???) OR Is there a different device that can be use in place of a timing light ...
Any of you blow through guys ever run into this?
Thanks,
TIM
