Aluminum wheels.. paint or powder coat?

I have a set of aluminum wheels for my daily driven Jeep Grand Cherokee and i want to have them done in flat black because i am thinking of having my replacement hood painted flat black also. Anyone have a preference of painting versus powdercoating in a longevity stand point? .. thanks Brandon

Powdercoating won't chip nearly as easy as paint will.
