ls2 into pontiac lemans sport

I have been thinking about replacing my 350 350 trans and up dateing my 1970 pontiac lemans sport with a 06 ls2 and auto trans from a gto and would like to know what is needed to performe the swap the body is off the frame. so what i need to know is where to begin and what is needed to performe the swap.
