Squidbillies, Robot Chicken, Family Guy.... I love those shows right at bed time. I miss when they had Shin Chan on though. At least I think that was the name of the show Perverted weird little kid on it, but it was cool. Adult Swim Rules!!!

Venture Brothers season 4 can't come soon enough.
(As I shoot a glance over to my Season 1-3 DVD box sets.)
We'll miss you, #24.

I miss Aqua Teen Hunger Force...
Robot Chicken helps keep the wheels on but dammit I miss the days of Master Shake and Meatwad following the Chicken... that was some kick butt programming in 15 minute pieces...

I love Family Guy and I've recently been introduced to Venture Bros. I love Venture Bros now, almost through with season one.

ATHF, Venture Brothers, and Harvey Birdman are some of the best shows on TV! Just not a huge fan of the anime they play sometimes.

LOVE the Robot Chicken. The DVDs make for hours of insanity...
Really fun to share with those who've never heard of it, too. Most folks don't get it at first, then, you see them slowly come over to the dark side about the fourth episode...
I really like the Superjail show too...it's pretty twisted.
I'm not digging the Metalacolypse show though.
I need to give Venture Bros. another shot apparently. Too many cool dudes here like it for me not to.

the Venture Brothers is probably the greatest tv show ever.
it just has so many levels to it- i've seen the entire series 3 or 4 times, and i always catch something that i missed before.
but the best episode was from season one- Ghosts of the Sargasso. i don't like David Bowie, but the "Space Oddity" thing at the beginning was just classic. and the ghost pirates that communicated with children's walkie talkies was just some funny stuff.

Never really liked Tim and Eric or Tom Goes To The Mayor - they never struck me as all that funny.
I miss SeaLab, although the earlier eps with Murph were better than the later ones.

Sea Lab is funny.
None of the live action stuff works for me.

Robot Chicken is great, though I grew up at the same time as the Robot Chicken creators (70s-80s), so I had a lot of the same toys that they feature. So I find a lot of the segments hilarious. I just about died when I saw the Dath Vader calls Palpatine segment. Tears rolling down my face.
I'm also a fan of ATHF and Metalocalypse. Got a bunch of episodes stored away on the DVR for those 10-15 minute down time intervals when I need something to watch. I can rarely sit and watch TV for longer than that any more anyhow.

Stewie rules!!!:thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:
yeah, but i don't consider Family Guy to be Adult Swim- yeah, they show it there and the show got put back on the air because of it, but it's not an Adult Swim production.
Dethklok is way more brutal than Stewie could ever hope to be.

I'm a big fan of Adult Swim and of cartoons in general. My kids ages 9,7 and 5 think it's "weird" that I sit and watch "their" shows with them. I just call it good parenting!
Two good cartoons that aren't on adult swim but that I find to be darn good are The Mighty B (Amy Poehler from SNL is writer and voice) and Phineas & Ferb. Both on Nick and worth a look

I've been watching AS-esque shows since cartoon network was still the new kid on the block and space ghost coast to coast was brand spanking new--used to stay up in the fourth grade and watch it, followed by speed racer, in my room, on my little 10" sanyo, in my bunk bed. I missed a fair amount of the humor, but probably caught more subliminally than I should have.
I can't believe there's not more harvey birdman love on here. I find everything about that show, from the entire premise, to the retro-silly style, to the writing, to the cameo characters to be just fantastic.
