All,
I have a little father/son project in the initial stages. This is my first go round with the paint scheme. I wanted some opinions on color choices and whether or not to change or lose the stripes.
Thoughts?

Go with a solid red stripe instead (and powdercoat the wheels).

I like the two tone, but I think a more subtle color to break up the two tone might be better, and less in your face.

I dig the two tone also and like the colors of the stripes, but maybe narrow them up a bit over the hunches. Then they aren't so in your face.
Of course, a little A-Team camaro would be sweet too.
For some reason the first thing that comes to mind with that paint scheme is "Super Shops!"

I agree that the last one looks great!
The first rendering looked really familiar to me... then I remembered this car:

That's exactly where it came from.. Your the first person to recognize it.. :worship:
I saw it and wondered what it would look like on a camaro.. We're tweaking now to make it our own.

Guys,
I went to visit a painter (artist) this afternoon in Euless Tx. Holy Crap, did that guy have some skills. His name is Johnny at Sycotic Designs. I've never seen so much detail than the stuff he had in his shop. My son was beside himself. Dad, look at this! Heard that more than once..
I was interested in his work based upon some of the stuff on his web site.

He was in the early stages of a Corvette custom so I couldn't tell much from it, but the motorcycles he had in the shop were simply amazing. Obviously my project will be much more reserved than the projects displayed on his site, but I came away knowing he could my car stand out..The web site does not do justice to the work I saw first hand.
I think I found the guy to bring this beast to life..

#3 looks real good to me. :1st:
I'll propose one more, take #1 or #2 and substitute the light gold for the orange or blue on the side.
I do like the deep gold on all panels as well.
