this happened not to far from my building. apparently more to the story - he exchanged fire with them at his car - then jumped and pursued them - they ducked in a car around a corner and when he ran around the corner he did not see them. then when he turned around to return to his car he walked past their car and they shot him the back many times.

He would have been home free had he just shot at them and when they ran - had he took off in his car in the opposite direction.

too bad he didnt mow down every one of them before they cowardly shot him in the back.

you have a lot of gang violence in san jose and surrounding areas - esepcially oakland.

I used to live there for 12 years. Its not a problem in a single area.

That's just messed up. A guy literally fights his way out of a bad place, returns to help others, and gets killed over it. For what? A couple hundred bucks? SO sad.

I enjoyed watching him fight. He was a top-level contender for many years and never gave a disappointing performance in the ring, win or lose.
