I went to a recent HPDE hosted by PDA at Pocono Speedway with the double infield. Great track and the car keeps getting better and faster. Check out the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF6q7tK1UVM

Thanx for the video. I have never run that direction. I think I prefer the big course the other way as well. It was always fun to come thru the tunnel turn at speed come out of the corner, let the car head for the wall, get on he brakes and get he car up on it's tippy toes and then turn in to the infield. It looked like a beautiful day which you don't always get up there

thank you, I have driven every course at pocono in every different direction and by far this is my favorite course at Pocono. I believe the course that you are referring to would be the single infield ran in the Nascar direction. I ran that one last year.

No the one I ran was the exact same one as you with both infield sections just the opposite direction. I have also run the northcoarse from NASCAR turn 3 towards the tunnel turn then turning into the infield right before it and coming out of the infield at pit in. That is actually my favorite course.

I believe that I saw this car go over the burm at the end of the main strait at Summit Point in the late 90's. I was doing a Car Guys school that weekend.

You would be correct, July 1998 Car Guys event, lost the brakes on the front straight and the gravel trap did little to slow it down and I went over the dirt wall. :drive2: That was the old car now the way you see it has been reborn and risen from the ashes.
Thank you for all the compliments I really appreciate it.
JEFFTATE I am not sure when I will be able to make it to Road Atlanta but It is one track that Is on my TO DO LIST for sure
