I just got a call from my brother and 2 cars were stolen from his favorite sho, Don's VIntage Mustangs in Decatur last night.
1968 Camaro, 454 4 speed Maroon with White bubblebee stripe.
1965 Mustang Fastback, teal. 289 4 speed black interior # 5R09A178370
My brother had his newly restored 1967 Bronco there and it was spared, luckily. More details to come, but keep your eyes peeled. I wish there was more we could do to find these guys. This is obviously a team of pro - thiefs.

any chance we can get pics of the cars?
I'm in SC so will try to keep a look out on this end....doubt I'd be that much help though, unless they take the crazy backroad way north from GA.

I hate a thief.
I'll kill them if I catch them.

I asked for a picture of the Camaro and here's the response I got.
"unfortunately no and the owner hasn't been contacted yet because he's traveling and can't be reached. Atlanta police have said that limos were stolen last week that were equipped with lojack. By the time the lojack was found thety were on a container ship in international waters!"
Holy crap, that's fast. I'm guessing they roll the cars down to the nearby railyard, send them down to Savannah and their off.
Craziness, just like gone in 60 secs.

And that is when we need to send tyhe Navy and bring the ships back, recover the stolen merchandise and stick it to those who loaded the containers.
Do that a couple times and see how often they try it again!

Maybe these 2 police departments can talk. I've forward this link onto the Don, the shop owner so the APD can cross reference.
I just got off the phone with my brother, and Don is beyond destraught. He's had the Mustang for 30 years and it's like he lost a member of his family. Terrible.
I wish we could do more. If you are a shop owner in the Atlanta area, please be on alert. Set up cameras on the shop site out of reach. Maybe we can stop another from happening.

I have just received word that there is video of the incident showing a white roll-back taking the cars without any other markings. Also, a red car had been seen cruising the area prior to the incident.
The owner of the shop said he had been in touch with the Savannah Port Authority and they had told him they caught 14 cars in prior weeks attempting to be smuggled out of the country. His Mustang was not one of them, unfortunately.
Also, the Enterprise Rent-a-Car across the street has a great video feed of the area. The only problem being the tape from that time period was missing.
So Georgia folks, keep your eyes pealed for a White Roll-back without any DOT markings and a red car. I'll post video as soon as I can.

If that's the only tape missing, I'd say someone there was involved. :machine:
I used to work in Decatur. Lota bad stuff happens around here. At least no one was killed.
