what type of tranny cooler are you running

What type of tranny cooler are you running?The built in cooler in the rad,or the traditional finned cooler in front of the rad,or the round aluminum finned pipe type thats can go under the car.This for a street driven turbo 350 behind a 305 tpi in a 78 malibu.

if I do run the one in the radiator I also run an additional one in front of the radiator. Never the finned tube on the frame for a street car. That is drag race only equipment. I liek to run a single external big enough to handle all the cooling for the trans and keep the heat out of the radiator. if you have enough front end you can place the cooler in the airflow, but away from the front of the radiator.

i use a ford i got from summit. it's a plate style just like the earls and b&m's but cheaper.

the rad cooler work fine with a lock up converter.

Got two earls as wel works perfect only at roadraceing the tranny wil heat up to 150*. normal driving and higway blasts bearly 100*

Ive run the transstar style from Northern for years with no issues on multiple cars. they have several different ratings and the price is good.

They are the hose clamp style, not the threaded fitting style
