Ok, little background. My father is the proud owner of a beautiful 67 Cutlass Supreme Vert. One minor problem, it has a serious case of Grandpa-itis. Second issue, dad is a bit picky. The wheels need to look reasonably period correct. First thought were Torq-Thrusts... Leading candidate is the billet 17" Magnum 500s at the moment. I am curious if you guys can come up with any other options.

As far as the post title, saw these on a 67 GS and kinda liked them, but dont know what they are. Hoping someone can identify them.

Nick,

I can't identify that wheel for you, but I can show you a picture of a set of wheels we did for a fellow forum member's car. He added his own personal touch to the wheels by painting part of the spokes. Take a look at some of the wheels on our site and if you have any questions just let me know.

Dustin,

If it were me, you can bet a multi-piece billet something or other would be going on the car. :naughty:

However, my dad is a little old fashioned when it comes to this stuff. He hates the stance and the bicycle thin tires, but whatever wheels he decides on will most certainly look period correct. I have been trying to get him to stretch his creativity a bit, but to no avail.

If I don't come up with a significantly better alternative, I think the billet Magnum 500's will be his choice. Time will tell.

Thanks,
Nick

Nick,
I sent you a PM, but I think you'll be very happy to know that NewGen has a wheel coming out very similar to the old Magnum 500 but in modern sizes, and options. Email me when you get a chance. [email protected]
