Might poke around some of the Australian aftermarket, since the GTO is really a Holden Monaro.

The Hoppers Stoppers guys have a lot of kits (http://www.hoppers.com.au/) though I'm not sure if they cover exactly what you've got in mind.

The 2005 GTO's use the same front caliper assemblies as the 2005+ base level C6 Corvette, except that the caliper casting has "GTO" on it instead of "CORVETTE". IIRC, they used a slightly smaller 320mm x 32mm front rotor with the 5x120mm metric wheel pattern and a a much deeper offset to better accomodate the front suspension and wheels of the GTO.

I don't know much about the GTO's rear brakes so I'm no help there.

That's interesting, I was wondering if I could use the brakes off my '06 GTO donor car on my 79 Z28. Wonder if the KORE3 brackets might work with the 2? That'd make my life too easy, I think.

The GTO "basket"/abutement(whatever you want to call it) has a different lower spacing than the Vette ones. I believe the calipers will bolt on the Vette abutements front and rear.

I posted dimensions here before for comparison.

04's use a slight thinner and smaller diameter disc so a different caliper AND abutement than the 05-06s. Front caliper is pretty close though really. Rear calipers the same specs but have a vented disc. 05-06 do have GTO on them.Rear E brake is in rotor like a Vette.

Alot of guys upgraded 04s with take off 05-06s so they are around and fairly cheap.

I'm not sure on this but I think the gto has a different bolt pattern for the rims. Worth looking into before any purchases.

Indeed, the GTO is 5x120mm, where the GM cars are 5x4.75 (120.65mm). I wouldn't do the GTO rotors or bolt pattern, but I was looking at the KORE3 billet hubs for the tall spindles (to fit my Camaro), the same size discs in the Corvette flavor, and the mounting brackets. I could use the GTO calipers though. Hey, every dollar saved... :)

i have a 05 gto doner car was wanting to use front and rear need to keep the 5 x 4 3/4 bolt pattern. so kore3 is a company or the part name on the spendle, how about the rear??

Easiest/cheapest use the GTO calipers with Vette brackets and the Vette kits with 4.75 rotors.

You could always use the GTO rotors and have them redrilled for the correct bolt pattern but they have a different offset so brackets would need to be custom made.

KORE3 is a company. Here's what I'm looking at:

Billet wheel hubs allow you to use slip-on 'vette rotors:

This would cover the front (looks like about ~$500+ worth of parts).

If you look at the holes in the C5 rotors they are slightly oversize. I'm not sure about the GTO rotors, but if the holes are similar and the offset is the same, they just might work.

The difference between 120mm and 12.65mm is .013" on the radius. Not hard to make up with an oversize hole.
