Not a new project but figured I would officially introduce it. 69 Camaro, stock sub-frame smoothed out, DSE everything, coil overs, arms, steering box, etc. Rear is Currie 9 inch with locker and DSE 4 bar, coil overs, Ricks stainless tank. Wheels are Forgeline 19's all around 8 and 11 wide, tires are Bridgestone 245/45/19 and 335/45/19. Engine is gen1 SBC, 421 with AFR heads, solid roller with Jesel shafts, combo should be good for 550 hp. Plan on running E85 (carb not done yet so race gas for now). Hughes built 4L80E, compushift controller etc (thinking of going with the paddle shift). Paint is Viper Snakeskin Green over the original panels in rear but repo stuff for front. Interior is still up in air but have a few things for it, Marquez door panels and Sparco seats. Going to try and run C6 vette gauges and surround grafted on to the stock dash. Just got it back from paint and will have to wait awhile for the funds to build up before we continue. I'm thinking of bolting the seats in and driving it as is but wife said No! We'll see about that! Thanks for all the help and the great deals from members on all the parts used.

Can't seem to post pictures so i'll include a link, I hope anyway!

Nice! I thought only vipers could pull off that color, but the lines on the 69 make it look good!

I'm not sure if I like it or not. It's different looking. It almost looks like in the last picture it has a gold hue to it or it's the lighting from the sun but either way, nice car. Are you planing any stripes or ya just gonna leave it the way it is?

I like it. I always wondered how a Camaro would look in this color . Now I know. Nice...

Wow...I normally shy away from bright candy/pearls, but that color is breathtaking, but without being ostentatious. The third pic looks like a "satin pearl" finish that's on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder.

x2. Black wheels, matte black stripe(s) down the middle or hockey sticks down the side. Ditch the blue bowtie grill emblem. Yeah, it's a Chevy, we all know. Shave the emblem for a cleaner look.

WOW! The good news is, you'll never lose your car in a parking lot!

Just yankin yer chain, man--It looks like a beautiful color! I, too, would suggest breaking up the green a bit with some stripes. Something as simple as matte black stripes along the side of the cowl would be great!

I've had a hard time with the stripe thing. For now my plan is to leave it as is and drive it some. I actually built some 1-18 scale diecast camaros to look at diff designs and one has the entire hood, cowl and top of fenders blacked out. I liked it but most didn't. The shop that painted it said about 85 percent of the people that stopped to look at it loved the color, the others hated it. Car was ralley green to start so i thought it should stay green just a more modern one. On the chevy emblem, plan was to paint it green but after cleaning it up the paint guy though it looked good blue so they left it alone. I don't know if i'll keep it or not. Thanks for the comments guys!

Post some pics. Maybe, just maybe, some of us will give our opinion. LOL

I think the black top would look SICK! Maybe break up the edge by bringing it down into a stripe kinda like on the twist machine camaro...not necessarily the same, but a similar style

I love the color. I had no idea Vipers could even come in that color, lol.

I think it looks good as is but changing the rims to a darker color would be a good idea too. I'd go gunmetal not black though. That's just me.
