That is one of my favorite cars, I am very fond of the tradition look and that he was not opposed to it. His car is similar, in feel to what mine will be, a great pro-touring car that does not look like it from the outside. (in short)

P.S. I met your son at the Arlington stop on the tour, and we spoke a few minutes about the car, and told me how happy you were with Joe at DRT Auto. I will be moving to Phoenix in a month or so and it would be great to meet some time. I already know most of the guys over at So-Cal/Vintage AZ Parts, but I get tired of looking at those old fords all day.

Thanks guys! The shoot took forever! We even had to borrow an on-lookers truck to get that elevated shot of the car. Since I am not sure of how to post pictures on this site maby I could email some different shots of the car, (the bottom) to somebody and they could wip them up on the site for me.:fingersx:

And thanks again to Popular Hotrodding and Jonny.

Great car Paul. The Cobra replica wheels may piss of the purists--which is why I like them so much. They also happen to look perfect on a dark green 69 Camaro. Congrats on the car and the coverage.

That car looks great,Paul. I tried to check it out more thoroughly at the Springfield stop on the Power Tour but never did catch you close by.
The wheels are one of the big things that really set that car off.

I also love "the look" that car has - those wheels are "perfect" on the car! The car screams "drive me". Please post some pictures if possible. Thanks - Jack

Are you guys doing the long haul this year? I plan to, but in the '69 this time.

No, we aren't going to be able to make this years power tour. It's a little bit out of the way!

Paul, Do you ever go to the cruise at the pavillions? or any other local cruise events, I would like to check out your ride sometime in person, seems how you are local to me.

I do like the looks of those 05 mustang rims(?) kinda like the kelsey-hays. I am thinking about them for the town car. great looking car Paul.

THE PEARL CYCLONE

Hey guys, look for the Pearl Cyclone in Popular Hottrodding Magizine, it should be out in Mid July. You wont be dissapointed. If you want to see it now it is on this web site under 69 Camaros, or you can go to

justanova- Yeah I make it out there a few times during the season but not very often. I mostly go when the first gen camaro club goes. I really should get out their more often.

Pro-touring towncar- The wheels are from Team 3 and are Cobra wheels. The center caps are off of a late model monte carlo and we hand made the brackets for them on a lathe.

How and what did you make your intake out of?

The 90 degree elbow is from a place here in Mesa, Arizona called Fleet Pride. They mainly deal in big truck stuff but often have things for other that will work in other applications. I think the 90 was less than 10 bucks. The pipe is from the same place. It is normally used for diesel exhaust.

oooh, an advertisement for the "pearl cyclone", I must go buy at closest retailer! Reckn8, nice car! I really like they stock look of it, real classy job!

Hydratech®

I'm willing to bet that this monster has some serious braking capability too! Have you had the opportunity to seriously run the brakes through their full paces yet? With that much rubber on the road, I'm willing to bet that it can really haul it down with the best of them!

yody- Thanks for the compliment!!!

Hydratech- Yeah we have pushed the brakes pretty hard, and let me say that the system really works well!! I think that were sold on the Hydratech systems from now on :)
