I'm currently building a -77 Firebird and I would like to get the front lights that were used on the Burt Reynolds Edition Trans Am. I tried searching the year one site with no sucess.
Judging by their pricing on the 18" wheels, I guess I can't afford the lights anyway which means that I'm open for other "modern" suggestions instead of the stock lights. Perhaps there are stock sized clearglass lamps available?
Ideas?

To be honest they look like aftermarket project headlights for the '88-98 Chevy Silverados.

They actually do, eventhough Year One states that theirs are custom moulded.

Anyone know what dimension those lamps are? Width and height... Depth would be nice too, eventough thats probably the smallest problem.
Are Silverados known for their superior lights during dark nights?

I'll have to agree about the Silverado lights. I believe I read (can't remember where) that they used aftermarket Silverado lights when building it.

I heard the same stuff about them using the silverado lights as well.

They are Silverado lights. They used 1995 units in the prototype. they look ok, but are a tad smaller in height than the 4 x 6 originals. best to make a cardboard template and see if you like them. In person, I was torn on them which is why I have not installed them on my 78.

I have also read somewhere they are truck lights.
