Picked up a 1973 2 door Dart Swinger about a year ago and wanted to have the car done by now but have lacked motivation as I do body/paint work during the day at work, and its hard to come home and do more at night. It came from Arizona to me in Indiana, so being an arizona car, the body is in good shape as far as rust goes. It has a 6 cylinder in it that runs and drives and it's going to stay that way for a while. I've got a fast car so this one will be a cruiser. Color is going to be the old cuda lime green color up to the top body lines on the fenders/doors/rear qtr's, and then hot rod satin black the rest of the way up. It should be a different kind of look. It may or may not look good, but I'm going to find out. :) Not sure about wheels, but probably something with a polished lip with satin black spokes or centers. I haven't worked on the car very much until here lately. I am finally starting to get moving on it a little. Got the trunk, hood, driver fender and door in primer. The passenger fender and door just needs a little more work, and then its on to the rear qtr. panels and roof. Don't have too many pics of the progress to this point, but I am going to start taking a lot more as I get deeper into it and closer to finishing it up. I have all of next week off so I am really going to hammer away and try and get some more parts ready for primer. Anyway, here are some pics. Any input is welcome.
