I had a fun day in the Texas heat yesterday, swapping out my intake manifold just to get you all some actual results.
100% showroom stock 2009 Z06 (mine).
Before and after tests of the new FAST 102mm LSX-R intake manifold.
Just for fun, we also did before/after with the Killer Bee installed too.

Whew!
I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Nice testing Tony and great results. It's nice to see a truly independant test.

I run FAST stuff myself, but I see you guys got 14 hp, and FAST claims 16+, and 26+ for bigger displacement motors (isn't the LS7, at 427 cid, bigger displacement?).
Have you guys asked FAST about that?
In any case, I really appreciate the article. Keep 'em coming!

xLexus, no tuning was done. Just a simple intake manifold swap. Re-used the same injectors, throttle body, sensors, etc...
John, the LS7 is indeed 427ci. FAST claims crank hp figures, this was rear wheel. I'm sure the variance between cars will be in that range, no biggie. I'm just glad it didn't LOSE anything :)

Very cool Tony and thanks. I have heard different results from other folks so I am wondering if the manifolds can behave differently from one unit to another.
I see you were not able to use your stock fuel rails also. Someone said the factory LS7 rails would not work and bummer on that as it adds in another extra cost there.
