you should get every thing you can. That even includes the engine frame mounts. Harness, ecm and clutch mastercylinder, cats if you want to use the stock manifolds you'll need the flanges to mate the exhaust pipe to the manifolds.

the prices for these range from 1000-4000 $ depending on the mileage etc... for example I paid 3800$ for a 2002 ls1 with 4l60e complete pull out with 38k on it a year ago.

will the wheels fit as well?

wheels would need spacers in order to work, not ideal. But do take the brakes and seats also.

seats - $250, up to $400 if mint

brakes front and rear - dual piston fronts, basically mini C5/C6 base corvette calipers, advantage to them is that they'll fit in 16" wheels if that's a concern, shouldn't have to pay over $150 for all four, leave the rotors unless they're new. he could get more for them on eBay, but cash talks.

center console and dash - if you can get them cheap, take both as you can flip them for profit.

t-tops - if mint can fetch decent $ on eBay

if you don't have a neighborhood association i'd just buy the whole car if you can get it for a good price and keep what you want and part the rest.
