I took the 67 up to Wegner Motorsports on Sunday so they could iron out some of the bugs in the tune. My dad is retired so he went over there today and drove Gary around with the laptop tweaking it. After two or three hours of working on the part throttle settings he could not resist running it up through the gears.

1st thru 4th buzzing it to 7000 in each gear before he decided to back off, getting it whoa'ed down just before meeting a state patrol. Damn kids. He repeated the process on a side road on the way back to the shop and ran across a county squad. Luckily, neither spun around to get him.

All he could tell me on the phone is, "I've gotta have one of those motors"...

Soooo, the search is on for a car. Knowing or being related to me is starting to get expensive for people. First Telly comes to Motorstate Challenge and has the bug worse than he already had it. Now this.

Attached a couple of crappy pics from the other day. Will get some good ones next week when I get the car back.

Can't beat a 67 or 8 with no front bumper. Wouldn't have it any other way. Motorstate Challenge made one shortcoming clear to me. I was the only one on leaf springs. There's always next winter...

Vengeance, I have that one sitting on the shelf in my office. I have thought about sanding the white stripes off and putting a flat black stripe around it.

That motor is mechanical art. Great looking car, probably one of my favorite 67's.

I am waiting for it. The only place it has really been out is Motorstate Challenge. I'm sure it is a matter of time.

Can't wait to get it back. My dad is going to drive it down here on Sunday. We'll see if he can get here without getting pulled over. :)
