Hey Everyone. Well I bought a 67' El camino back in MArch and basically got it running and driving and had it as my DD up until 3 weeks ago. Over the period of a couple months I collected parts for a new drivetrain since the engine I had it it was running like crap due to the worn out heads and worn rings. So I bought a 496, had a th400 built with a hughes 2500 stall, and picked up a used 12 bolt. This weekend I finished breaking in the new engine and tommorow will pickup the driveshaft and wed Its time for a new exhuast. I had also started stripping the body and epoxy priming the bare metal on the weekends. The goal for the car is to keep it old school aside from the suspension and steering of course. I'll be getting some new shoes for it in the next soming months but they'll be from Wheel Vintiques. I'm planning on giving the car somewhat of a COPO car look to it. Radio delete, bullet proof drive train and no frills. Thats all for now and sorry for the long post. I hope to have a vid and some more pics up soon.
