Crossmember removal

Ok I have the stupid question of the day. I cant get the crossmember out of my 67 camaro. I have all the bolts removed and I cant slide the thing out. Any tips for me being the idiot I am today.

Try loosening the subframe bolts for the extra clearance.

I had the same problem. I took a rubber mallet and lightly tapped it out. I will probably replace my subframe body mounts when I re-install it so I don't scrape the new paint.

Hey guys thanks for the help. I got it out with a brass hammer and a little muscle.
