I've done some reading about it and I see there a lot of people that don't like them. some of the reasons I hear is the lower a arms are single sheer. But the photo I have looks like they fixed that to double? I'm on a big budget and I don't plan on racing it. I just want it to look good. $3900 completed and ship sounds good. Any other info would be good . Thanks

Looks to be double shear in the back, kinda. Appears to just be a bracket to capture the bolt head.
Couple of things to note:
1. Single shear isn't necessarily a bad thing. Every design, whether it be double or single shear, has a design safety factor. If each design is capable to withstanding, say, 8 times the normal peak load, they're equal. The only difference being the double shear has the advantage of being able to keep the bolt from backing out (lockwashers, providing a non-moving mating surface, etc). We use single shear on several of our IFS designs and have withstood years and years of service along with hundreds of thousands of miles...you just have to design it accordingly.
2. Heidts does not make a bad front clip. They have the distinct advantage over a stock clip of utilizing a rack and pinion; stiffer in design providing more feedback and less deflection, easier to package which allows front steer, and much less weight.

No, but if I were tackling the process of addressing the front end of my car again I would look at the Speedtech stuff. It seems very robust for the money. Just something to look at...
