Hey guys,

Has anyone installed the wiring kit from EZ Wire? If so, what are your Pros and Cons. :enguard:

Thanks,

this may help. I have the EZ harness and it is very nice. I haven't installed it yet, but I have heard good things.

i installed an ez 12 circuit in my first gen, then switch it to an 18 circuit. it was really easy to set up as long as you dont mind making all the connections for everything but the ignition switch, dimmer. For the price i think its a great kit. The cost of the solder and heat shrink wont even get you close to the panless or AAW kits. I have used a painless 18 in the past and the quality of the wire was not as good, but that was a few years ago i dont know if it been updated or not.

I have installed a bunch of EZ wire harnesses. Works great and affordable too.

For my money I'd go with a Kwikwire harness. Similar to EZ wire, but heavier gauge wire and clearer instructions in my opinion.

I've used KEEP IT CLEAN in my last project. Pretty straight forward instructions, wires weren't too small, overall I was pretty happy with the harness. The price wasn't too bad either. Heres a link to their wiring harnesses (http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/keepitclean/product.lasso?prodinc=wirepanelsystems&r=5033)

Not to hijack the thread, but I have narrowed my options down to either a EZ Wire Kit, or Kwik Wire.

I am kinda partial to Kwik Wire, as they are about an hour away (WISCONSIN).

Just wondering in addition to the EZ wire thread started, does anyone have experience with Kwik Wire?

On a limited budget and Painless doesnt seem to be worth it? and AAW or other $1000+ are not an option for this guy.

As always, thanks for the advice fellas, I have learned a ton on this forum so far that has saved me a bunch of $, time etc.

Get the EZ wire. You won't be disapointed.
