Hey all. I am new to the site and about to start a build on my 69 Mach I. I have restored muscle cars for years, but this is my first pro-touring build. That being said, I am pretty much clueless about modern after-market suspensions and the best set up to use.
This car will be mainly for the street with a little racing squeezed in here and there. I have a modest budget and was looking into suspension options for both front and rear. Any thoughts on what to purchase? I wanted to find the best blend of bang for the buck and performance.
I was considering TCI's IFS system and TCI's 3 link torque arm for the rear. Quite honestly, I don't know anything about suspensions so I am just guessing here. Can you point me in the right direction?

One more quickie. What is suspension bind? I hear it a lot but haven't a clue to what it is and how to avoid it. Thanks!

The Suspension forum has got some good info for you. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=21

Suspension bind - what happens when a suspension under load doesn't move freely through the full range of motion. Lots of good info here on that - http://www.elephantracing.com/techtopic/binding.htm
