I have noticed you can get a billet grill for a 67 camaro but can you get 1 for the RS model.

Paul, i've been looking for a company that makes a billet grill for 67 SS's and am having difficulty finding one. Do the 68 grills fit 67's as well? Think you could point me in the right direction?

I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but I have not come across anything for RS's during my searches.

A while back I was also looking for a billet grill for my 68 RS. I found a guy on camaros.net named Dan who had a 68 rs (one of the nicest ones I have seen at that!) and he had a billet grill. He told me his was custom made by a place named Carriage Works (http://www.carriageworksinc.com/Billet_Aluminum_Grilles_for_Cars.jsp) but they do not provide any pictures.

I also found Chevy Land Parts (http://www.chevylandparts.com) you have to download their catalog and they have a couple of black and white pics around page 56-59.
Here is Dan's Webpage (http://www.angelfire.com/md2/68camaro/) . You can see the pictures of the RS grill in here.
Hope this helps

According to the resto book I have the 67 is the shallowist ie nearly flat then 68 slight V then 69 the pointed of the most weather it can fit using other parts from the same year I do not know. also can you interchange rear lights between yrs ?

Most of those parts will interchange between 67 and 68. 69 is unique at the tail lights. All first gen share header, roof, windshield, rear window and decklid. I'm pretty sure the front valance dimensions are the same for all three, but some would scoff at using a 69 valance on a 67/68. I used to like the vent wings on a 67 so that's what I got. Now I want a cleaner look so I plan to get some 68 doors to eliminate those vent wings.
Anyone that knows different from what I just posted please feel free to correct me. It's been a while since I looked all this up. B.t.w. I have 67 'Bird fenders on my Camaro and using those allows front bumper delete w/ no corner bracket slots to fill! :bananna2:
