Burr King alternatives?

Any know of any reasonably priced alternative to a Burr King belt grinder? $1800.00 for one tool is just not in the budget right now:

Got spoiled using a Burr King at school just so many things you can do with it. (Especially great for custom brackets).

I'd love to have a decent belt grinder as well. About the closest "new" grinder I can find is one of the Trick Tool setups:

I'd probably opt to get the combination Jet grinder / belt grinder setup from them. My Harbor Freight bench grinder is a giant turd, and I'm actively shopping for something that doesn't mind eating 1/4" plate.
