70 GTO, lowered 1.5 with 255/45/18's on 8.5 wheels. had it done at a shop but drives funny. i measured the toe and it appears to be 5/16's in. makes me wonder what else might be wrong. i'm guessing it should be around 1/8 out. thanks for any help.

Toe out on a street car is a no-no. What are the spec on the sheet they gave you?

As I recall I'm running 1/32 toe-IN, with -.7 camber and +4.5 caster

Dennis, didn't get anything but a bill when i picked it up! Anyone in the Phoenix area know where to get an alignment done? Car has billet wheels with a rounded off edge or lip. Other shop didn't have anything that would grab it and i had to put stock steel wheels on it before they would do it. I guess my assumption on toe out was wrong, I run a dirt car and thats where we start them.

On a track car toe out helps with turn in but on the street it makes them "darty". I'd find a new shop, all shops I know of have the adapters to grab the outside of "fat lip" wheels. We use them on everything.

Jump,

Look up Jack's Auto Alignment and give them a call. I had my El Camino aligned there while I was still driving it and could not have been happier. Perfect tire wear, dead straight, etc, etc. I'm not sure if they've gone to computerized alignment yet but they sure did a great job on mine without it.
