What gear to run out back???

Hey guys

I'm working on my 65 GTO and am wondering what rear gear to use. The motor will be in the area of 600HP with a TKO 600. The tires/wheels are yet to be determined but will most likely 315's. I would like to run a 17/18, 18/18, or 18/19 wheel combo. The car will mostly be on the street but I do want to cruise the power tour etc etc.

Which rear end do you have? I'd run something in the 3.42 to 3.73 range.

That's kinda what I was thinking......a 3:55 or 3:73. I thought a 3:90 etc might be too much. I have the stock ten bolt in place now and was planning on using, most likely, a Moser 12 bolt with discs. I still need to do mini tubs and some frame work before I can take final measurements to order a rear end.
