Ive been trying in vein to put together a plan and just having no luck with finding plain english LAyMan advice on buiding a rear suspension. I went to Summit Racing today and picked up Herb Adams book Chassis engineering.... After reading the rear suspension section a few times through and studying the pictures and grafts My head has cleared and a plan is finally starting to be put to paper. I owned this book years ago and sold it guess I should have thought that through a bit but at the time I was happy with my buggy spring suspension.... Not so much now...

My point of this Get the book and read if you cant understand the $10 words and engineer speak tossed around. A simple line drawing can be more help than 10 pages of Blah blah blah. :smoke:

I'd also suggest reading through the Carrol Smith series of books:
Tune to Win
Drive to Win
Engineer to Win

to get more insight and perspective before starting such a project.
