There will be pictures later, but bad penny survived alittle rain. I am proud of Steve, he actually drove it in the rain........hahahaha too funny.
It was a cool cruise today guys, about 50 cars were involved, even with the threat of rain. It rained hard before and just a little on the cruise, but all is good, nothing soap and water didn't fix afterwards.
For those close here, make your plans now to attend next year, this event will be huge. I can not wait til tomorrow, Gingerman, here we come.

Penny is no trailer queen but that doesn't change the fact that RainEx only goes so far...
I hoped to catch up with folks at the Silver Beach cookout but I either got there too late (8pm) or I was totally in the wrong spot.
One chica did say she thought there was a car show going on though. :)
The rain, wind, lightning tonight was C R A Z Y!!! I hit a collection of water so big I thought I drove in to the Bay! Geez!!
Gingerman, here we come!

No trailer queen, but she looked like it have never been driven. I commend him on taking on the midwestern back woods roads, not to mention the sand all over the park roads.

I'd agree with the Trailer Queen coment, accept for the fact that it was surrounded with museum roping when I arrived on Friday.LOL. Penny is a beautiful, competitive machine, and I'm glad to finally seen it, and get spanked by it in person.Good seeing you again Steve. Ron

Penny is one sharp piece of equipment, it looks like a full time show car and then he gets out and beats the hell out of it!!!! And the best part about it is it's fast as hell!!!!! Time to sell the cuda and build a competitive car. telly

I don't know whether to laugh of be offended by this thread.. It's not my fault it doesn't rain in SoCal... Although I've driven in a little.
I was more worried about that damn hail and tornado thing.. how do you people live out there? lol
Luckily my new and improved insurance kicked in right before the cruise (litteraly) made me fell better. The car's not made of sugar and the little rain isn't a biggie.
Yancy drove her part of the way to Forgeline today in Dayton where she will hang out until Columbus. He seemed happy with how the car rode.

I'm just almost obsessive about cleaning her up. I actully like the process, it's relaxing.
Anyways, it's easier to keep nice if you keep up on it. Friday night I just hosed her off at the local coin op wash.

Yea, I laughed at that too.. Thanks to Lane Automotive for recieving the car and giving it the movie star treatment. :)
Now to go order some new brake pads.. lol
I told him he needs wipers, lol.
Yea yea.. then I'll want AC and a heater.. None of which I need out here in sunny SoCal.
Next on the list are some adjustable shocks and some brake work. Those BP20s are great for the street and autocross but since Dave Pozzi and I were both using the car we fried them at Gingerman.
Rest of the car did great and new STACK gauge feature where the change color (when out of range) was really helpful.

Not on purpose by no means, but I have to say Penny was Amazing. The steering and tracking was dead on. Furthermore, the ride was very good considering it's practically a race car. Those seats are fantastic. I was very impressed..:hail:

Well, I am happy to hear that. Did Yancy mention the rainstorm we drove thru? Be sure to bring a couple of towels, soap, etc. when you come next month......:lurk:

Another car had a mechanical issue so it needed the trailer. That's ok, it was interesting to get Yancy's review of my car on the road.
