As I sit in a hotel room in Jasper Indiana tonight, reflecting on today, I have to share this with everyone.
Today was one of those really cool car guy days. I got up early and met Yancy at 7am, hit the road heading to Nashville. I was in my vette, Yancy in his new camaro and Mark in my truck with Yancy's Fairlane in the trailer. Now, it is not in the trailer cause it would not make the trip, it is in the trailer cause we had to have the trailer to bring another car back east after the Gingerman event this weekend.
We get to Nashville, meet up with Brian Finch, Jeff Tate and Mike Strinich, all of them in their drivers. We drive to Bowling Green, and meet Andrew for lunch. Then caravan up to Jasper to meet up with the guys at AirRide for a tour and ribfest.
Guys, this is what this hobby is all about, good times driving our cars, and meeting with friends. I incourage everyone to get out and experience this same thing themselves. I am off to bed now because at 6am we all meet at Air Ride and pick up two Air Ride cars and their motorhome for the trip on to Michigan. The trip is truely 1/2 the adventure. Get out and try it, I promise you will like it.
Look for pictures soon.

Sigh :( Maybe when the kids are out of the house.

Between Power Tour a couple of weeks ago and now Gingerman, yet another year will pass watching and reading about others living my dream.

Weekly car shows and cruises hardly seem worthy anymore.

Hope you all have a fun, great weekend and take lots of pics. Sounds like the weather is gonna cooperate!

Having been part of Power Tour and similar events like NFME I can say I know where you're coming from. The trip is half the adventure. You fellows have fun.

Bill,
Sounds like a great time!
Did you happen to meet John Hemmer at Air Ride?
I think that he is a shop foreman?
Friend of mine great guy!

I had a great time !
The time we spent in Jasper was beautiful...
Bret and all the AirRide people are top notch.
They treated us like kings while were there.
We had the best time hanging out at AirRide , eating ribs with them...

If anyone ever gets a chance , you have to check out AirRides facility.
It is amazing.

Thanks Bret
