So last night I was bored and looking for something fun to do and found a bad photochop I'd done a while back when someone mentioned they might like to a version of this car. Well, I thought it'd be fun to flesh it out as a PT project. Whatcha think? Anyone wanna guess what it is???

I will say it is a Ford Motor Company product, but not a Pinto or Mustang II. Any other guesses?

The Ford Falcon was replaced by the Ford Maverick on April 17, 1969. Maverick's 1970 model year production totaled 579,000 units. The Maverick was joined by its mechanical twin the Comet in 1971.

So whatcha'll think??? I bet I could score one pretty cheap, but the damn amount of work would probably kill me. :scared:

Make a video... "The Joy of Grinders and Welders"
I think it would be a Hoot! (Says the guy who hasn't touched his car in a year)

Buddha I love the shot you did of my 69 with torque thrust ds, thank again.

years ago a guy came up on my back bumper in a lowered yellow maverick with mustang lx wheels . we talked in a gas station and he told me hr flipped his worked mustang and took the motor and all the trick stuff and put it in his moms maverick.it was really a cool car and he was ahead of his time . the wheels and stance completley transformed the car.

Here's another one I've done... I did this for my father who owns one of these. In fact, he's owned the same one going on 30 years now. One day I hope we'll get it looking like this. BTW, any guesses what it is?

Fiat is correct! It is a 124, but not really a special model... just a '67-'69 124 Sport Coupe. The same general body style continued until '72 but with a very different front end (quad headlights, different grille, different fenders, hood, etc.). Here is one would've looked like in stock trim:
