hood hinge options

I got some over spray on them when the car was painted. So I am going to take them off to repaint. I was wondering if the hinges can be powder coated? I would love some billet hinges but can't cough up the money for those.

Don't know what car you have, but I bought powdercoated hood hinges for my Monte Carlo right off ebay...

yep they can be powder coated. I did them on my 68' and they look good.

I need to get my hood back on and I cant seem to like the original hinges they just look like a polished turd compared to the rest of the car. I want some billet hinges, who has the best deal. I'm trying to get the car done for Joliet's Goodguys show.
