Coil over front suspension (rear will be converted next winter)with any touchups that may need to be completed but my mission is to be driving by july.

With no mods to the rear probably a 9 in wide rim. If you relocate the rear leaf springs(cheap and fairly easy if you can weld) 11 inch wide with no issues.

12 inch wide is easy 13 incher would be close with the corect wheel offset and stance you could do it. :yum:

Dodgeboys,
Hey I've been following your build on Cuda-Challenger.com for some time. It's really turning out great. I'm doing a 6.1 '71 Challenger also.
Question on your Alterkation front. Is it possible to lower the ride height any additional amount (I'm not knocking yours :) It looks great as is-just info for my build). I haven't purchased my front suspension yet and I do want a low ride height within reason. Just looking for a first hand experience with a pro-touring E-body set up and trying to decide which way to go either Alterkation, AME bikini clip modified and welded in or XV. What size of front tire are you running?
Great pictures by the way!
Thanks, Wes

Beautiful car, incredible paint. Really nice job - you should be proud.
Wes - we also have an option (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZX7jINa_ho) for those that want adjustable ride height and track ready handling without cutting.

yes it can go lower 1 inch and I will lower it some more after the back springs settle a little more and I add 1 more inch of offset to the front wheels. (18 x 9 wide) I only have 150 miles on it and lots of tweeks left.
I am happy with the Alterkation lots of options rides great handels way better than the old stuff. :)

Wes,
Pretty good I guess my 6.1 isn't stock :machine:
If you'r thinking smoky tires none yet trying to put some time and miles on everything first. But she runs GOOD; 100 MPH comes pretty quick.:6gears:
