how mush does it cost to have a 68-72 a-body frame narrowed so i can run 12 inch wide rims

hey,
they should fit without narrowing anything.

I don't think so.....
A 12" rim is actually usually about 13" wide, right? Now add the tire width. You'd need at least 14" of clearance just to get it in there without having any actual "clearance" between the tire and the wheel house. I guess maybe it's possible, but IIRC it ain't gonna happen without narrowing the frame and moving the suspension mounts inboard.

Ahh, no way they'll fit, not even close.
Narrowing the frame is one opstical, then you need to mini tub the body.

I thought about 12" tires, sorry.
Anyhow I just went down in the garage where my 68 Chevelle coupe is parked without one rear wheel, the wheelwell is 13 1/4" wide and this is without rolling the lip.
Depending on tire it might be possible with some lip rolling and some hammering but it will be tight for sure (IF it works). 11" fit with 315s.
