I am getting ready to weld up my brackets for the disk brake hard lines on my rear housing..anyone have pictures or advice on where on the axle housing to weld the tabs? Probably going to weld on Sat. or Sun. so if you have pics, I'd love to see em...of the cars of course! :)
Thanks,
Brian

Just make sure they are out of the way of shocks/springs and moving parts. Keep a little slack in the line and you should be good.

Lots of ways to do it. Just make sure they aren't in the way of anything and make sure that the flex line doesn't have to make a sharp bend. The gentler the bend on the flex line, the less stress there is on the hose end crimps. These wound up being right below the bump stops, so I had to redo them. You can learn from my mistake!!

These are the before pictures. I didn't have to move them far, but I did have to redo the hard lines. Luckily, the tubing is cheap and is easily bendable by hand.!

Thanks Gort...that is exactly what I was looking for. Good tip about the bump stop. I never would have thought of it! :pat:
