I finally got her back on the road after having her sit for two years. She is still sitting a little high because of the new GW suspension, but hopefully she will drop in about a month.

Enjoy.....

Nice car. Are those the HotWheels wheels? I was thinking about running a set of those too.

Yes they are, they are 16" x 8" Sixty Eights. I had these on my Can Am, but when I sold it, the new owner wanted the factory Rally II's on it so I put these on my Goat. These are not the right off-set, so the front tires rub on the back bottom fender corner. I am considering the 17" Black Sixty Eights, but I need to find out if they come in 10" widths.

If it does not settle you got room for some twenty fos :enguard:

JK man it looks good. Did you make sure all the weight was on the suspension before you tightened the control arm bolts. If not you need to loosen them and do so. The suspension is not going to settle but an inch at best. There is some reason its sitting so high.

Thanks..

The seats are from Arizen. They are good quality for the price. They have nice features. They have adjustable lumbar support. and a fold and slide feature for entry and exit from the back seat.

I am very happy with them for what I paid.

I probably won't go with 20's, I am looking at 18's right now. I am amazed at how expensive some of these rims are. I would love to throw on some Forgeline's, Fiske's, or HRE's, but my wallet could not handle that. I am looking at either some Boss Motorsport rims, or the good old Torq-Thrust 2 wheels.

I was unaware that I needed to loosen the control arm bolts to allow the car to drop.......

Go figure.:drive2:

Yea. It will drop a bunch. The best way to do it is on a 4 post drive on lift so the suspension is fully loaded.

FYI twenty fos = 24's :geek:

I have the black hotwheels on my car. Haven't seen anyone else run them.

Cool ride, but I think you are going to have to re-work that suspension. You need a huge drop to get that thing where it needs to be. Keep us updated!!!

New springs are inbound from Global West.........

I should have them in my hands tomorrow. I pulled the first set of springs that Global West sent me last night, so I should have the new ones in in no time. I must say that Doug at Global has provided TOP NOTCH customer service...... My 15 x 7 Rally II's should be blasted tomorrow, I am going to repaint these and run these for a while, until I save enough to get the wheels and tires I "Really" want.........

As promised....new pictures

The new springs dropped the car down about 2". Before the spring swap, the front of the car was 27.5" at the center of the front wheel arch, the new springs dropped this to 25.5". The rear of the car was sitting 28.5" at the center of the rear wheel arch. The new springs dropped this to 26.5". The rims on it now are 15" rally II's, but the tire diameters are the same as what was on it in the original picture.

the only thing I would change is I would get rid of the woodgrain in the interior
