GM A-Body DSE Rear Sway Bar anyone?

Hey guys, was surfin around on DSE's website and was looking at their rear sway bar. It says it doesnt attach to the lower control arms like the other companies but rather to the frame. Does any one happen to have one of these installed? Perhaps some pictures? Does it feel better/different?

I've got one. The bar attaches to the axle housing with u-bolts & saddle brackets and the ends of the bar to the chassis crossmember with end links and brackets (similar to the way a front sway bar attaches to the spindle). Also sits much higher than the type that bolts between the lwr ctrl arms. No pics but I just ran the autocross DSE hosted at the Chevellabration event in TN and the car ran like a slot car. Fast, flat corners, and ridiculously stable. And I have ZERO auto-x experience. The car did all the work. I have their entire rr suspension (Speed Kit 3) and am about to add their full front system.

If you'd have seen Kyle Tucker flog the snot out of their DSE-outfitted '65 at that event, that alone would have sold you. He made 40+ passes over 2 solid hours without a break other than to wait his turn for the next run and to swap in the next passenger. There was a steady stream of people at their trailer the next day with their credit cards out.

hey bob, how does it compare to your older setup? like a world of difference?

also, do you have any more side shots of your car by chance? rather then the one that you posted when you first got your wheels. Trying to see if that would be low enough for me.

I was thinking about picking one up with the nice gift card they gave me for winning the autocross. scandc.com also sells a decoupled rear bar.

I think Hotchkis has one as well.

The new bar works much better than the other style, at least on my car. If you think about it the other style only provides a connection between the 2 lwr ctrl arms; no connection to the chassis. The new one provides a connection between the axle housing and the chassis itself; much better for resisting body roll.

I haven't had a chance to get more pics taken.
