So you read in my last post how I got fish eyes. I've now got one layer of paint to come off above the primer. Should I take it back to metal or try to just take off that layer? I'm afraid that if I don't go down to metal I'll have to put more primer or pain on to fill in low spots even if it is feathered out.
As well, what should I be using. I'm guessing a rust and paint stripper wheel is out of the question or can I get away with it if I'm going all the way down? What grit paper should I be using if I'm not going all the way down?
Thanks guys.

If your not going all the way down you could either use 600 or 800 depending on how much clear you need to cut through. But usually when i scuff and shoot i use 600 and i have no problems.

I got under that first coat to primer with the paper I used to scuff it in the first place so 600 it is. Thanks
