Went to the track for the first time this year to blow the dust off the car. I had a great time and due to new gear change the car flew. Check out the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDPPAtgoAE8

Great video Don!!!
Man, you really lowered your gears... It must really pull a lot better... I think I remember you having a 4-speed... Those lower gears just limit your top speed, don't they??
By the way, the video quality is great without any vibration... What camera are you using? I am in the market REAL soon.
Awesome car!!! :1st:

Thanks guys for the compliments and checking out the video. To answers some of the questions. The car has a 4 speed, the original gear was a 2:75 which was great for top speed of 195 mph but on tracks like this one it would of slowed me down so I went over to a 3:50 gear which will only have a top speed of 155mph. I was seeing speeds on the front straight a little over 140 mph. The video camera I use is a Canon elura 85 Digital Video Camera, it uses a small tape. I have had it for about 5 years it does work very well. It is mounted on a rubber isolated camera mount that is attached to the roll bar. Usually now you can get a really cool truely digital camera for less than $500.00. There were a bunch of cars on the track and I would catch them in a short time, no one was catching me which was cool for once. On the second session towards the end the hydraulic bearing went away and I had no clutch so when I caught everyone my day was done. I took it apart Sunday and it appears that the throw out bearing looks like it was on fire for a short period of time
