AFX tall F body splindle

Are the AFX spindles still available? I'm ready to redo my suspension and had planned on using these, but can't seem to find where to purchase. ATS's website states they are on backorder??

BTW, here's my plans, please comment if you see a problem with the combination.

Currently I have Hotchkis SBC springs, Hotchkis front swaybar, spindle extenders, KYB shocks.

Plan to upgrade to: AFX spindles, Bilstein/Hotchkis shocks, Speedtech UCA/LCA (keep spings and swaybar)

From what I understand the answer is yes. Tyler is now working for Anvil (another site vendor). He is doing the ATS thing Part time. If you need a set now they are sold in batches. After enough orders are generated then a batch is made. I would try calling and leaving a message with him. Also, he monitors the forums often so maybe he will see this and respond as well. Oh by the way you didn't mention what you are working on. I would recommend that you ditch the spindle extenders with the tall ATS spindle. You may also want to check out the FAQ section on the spindle on ATS's website.

I'm working on a 69 Camaro. I plan to ditch the spindle extenders for sure. I've had them for a while and they essentially do the same as the taller ball joint, but I don't feel comfortable with their long term safety.

The car is basically going to be a DD. I'm currently installing a LS1/T56. I already have a hydroboost with the C5/C4 rear brake setup.

I wanted a new sub-frame but have realized that the money would be better spent in other places since I don't plan to do any racing.

I am also using my stock frame but doing the ATS Chicane conversion with coil-overs. Right now I am short on funds for finishing it, but I have the coil brackets and the spindles as well as GW lower control arms. Also as far as parts I would monitor the for sale ads here as well as check with the many vendors as they have sales all the time. Also, check with Prodigy Customs GP superstore.

More then likely, you won't get ahold of Tyler about ATS spindles. About Carbon fiber Yes, the spindles no. I think there's a batch that's getting ready to be done or is done, which a lot of people have been waiting so that batch will be gone soon. Give Marcus a call at SC&C (sponsor here) and see if he has any left. He was going to receive about 8 sets but they were going quickly.

We have 108 pair of tall AFX spindles being assembled by my fabricato in Las Vegas right now. Of those, about half are sold. We will have a stock of them for a few months, and have already sent in an order to our foundry in TX for another 500 sets. If you need me, email is best. I'm doing Anvil stuff full time during the day in Los Angeles, and my phones, equipment, and inventory is still in Vegas.

We are going to be shipping all orders for Tall AFX spindles shortly. No dealers from Classic Industries to SC&C have any spindles in stock, but all dealers seem to have at least 10-20 sets on order.
