i have a 1987 firebird thats my ongoing project that ive had for a few years and i just finished installing vogtland dropsprings and gr2 struts up front. when i droped the car back on the ground it sits really high, witch to me first off sucks and pisses me off and secound is weird since they are suppose to drop the car about 1.2 inches and instead raised it about 2-3 inches. the wheels in the pic are 15 inch irocs with 225/60R15 tires. any ideas on this issue, the springs cant be in wrong enough to lift the car that much, thanks for any input

wellcome tothe board, I'll give you a first advice before telling the world how pissed you are before undurstanding how it works, altering a car requires some engineering thinking and understanding of how one part or action affects another.
To answer your question about if they could be in "wrong enough" the answer is yes, there is no in between they are in right or wrong, check the lower part of the spring to make sure it is in to factory specs (do you have a repair book for this car?)
Second I would look at the top and make sure the spring is not sitting wrong there.
Third I bet the job was done with the wheels hanging and was put back on the ground all nice and tight!? the bushings are holding up the car, loosen the lower A-arm bolts and I mean loose! the steel sleeve willhave to rotate on the bolt, put it back on the ground and drive it around the block, then you can tighten the bolts WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE CAR ON THE TIRES put it on raps if you can't reach under the car but DO NOT JACK THE CAR UP.
Same at the rear, loosen the control arm bolts.

how much play should there be in the bushing, after you loosen the A arms, i also put new poly bushings in while everything was apart, yes it was assembled in the air and then dropped down with everything tight, id be very happy if this would solve my problem but its off, to high, by quite abit

There is no "play" to look for just loosen the lower A-arm bolts, I also not expect the car to be lower than before because you are gauging against sagged 20+ year old springs
