Just thought I would give un update on the car and what I've been doing to it. Just a bunch of small things, really. I have been mostly driving and enjoying it since I put the AME C6 clip in almost 2 years ago. I think the last update I did was when I finished the subframe swap. Here is an overview of the car in it's (hopefully) final configuration. Who am I kidding, it will NEVER be done :)

Most recent changes were making up a new intake pipe to get rid of the air flow meter that I no longer use (tuned in speed density). Had the pipe ceramic coated and it turned out great. Alan at http://www.xtremeperformanceheatcoatings.com/ is great. They have so many cool finishes/coatings available that I am considering having the centers of my wheels done in a black ceramic finish.

Also just got a new carbon fiber front spoiler from Screamin' Performance. This is a VERY nice piece and it is the same dimensions as the repro' one I had on the car. I think the carbon finish looks great against the silver paint and charcoal stripes. I am very happy with the quality and fit.

For those of you who are not familiar with my car, here are some basic specs:

2002 LS1 & T56
Magnuson 122 intercooled superchager @ 11 psi
543 rwhp and 516 rwtq

AME C6 front subframe
HTH truckarm rear suspension system

Fikse FM5 wheels
Michelin Pilot Sports
275/35/18 & 335/30/18

Here are some pics I took after the spoiler and intake install. Not the greatest lighting or location, but they turned out ok.

Thanks, fellas. I'm really happy with the way everything has come together. I actually need to take some updated interior shots. Don't really have any that are newer than 2 years old. Not a lot has changed, but little stuff here and there. I'll take a new one tomorrow. Here is the last one I took.

I had my local muffler guy do the intake. I just gave him my old one and had him copy it. He has done all my stainless exhaust work. Not many muffler shop guys can do nice stainless welds.

Overall, I'm happy with the truckarm setup. Rides nice and has great grip in back during cornering. No wheel hop at all even with over 600 lb-ft of torque and a manual. One of the downsides is not a ton of room for exhaust, but I have my pipes all the way out the back. Just need to run smaller mufflers.

You mean the 2 pinch clamps I have on the upper hose? Those are the only 2 on the car like that, and they actually seem to work pretty well. They have around 15k of street driving on them without any issues. I drive this car enough that I find out what works and what does not.

Where did you get the A-pillar guage pod? I have been looking for one of these for a while but havent been able to find one.

Beautiful car!

It is an Autometer part that is listed for a fox body Mustang. Fits pretty well as you can see. I would like to get a new a-pillar trim with the pods built in, but nobody is making those for the '67 models yet. Hopefully soon, you listening Anvil?

Yep, it has worked great so far. I've probably put 10k miles on it and the only issue I had was a contact problem at the relay for the pump. I think it gives a good pedal feel and provides plenty of boost without feeling "over-boosted". I'm not sure what the master cylinder diameter is, but the pedal travel also seems short which is nice.

Thanks

The blower really doesn't make any noise until you hit about half-throttle or more. No noise at all at idle. Part throttle acceleration results in a slight whine, but hit the throttle wide open and the blower screams. With the pulley setup I have, it makes a peak of around 11 psi. But the best part is that it has 8 psi at around 2500 rpm and climbs to peak boost very quickly.

It is really perfect for me, quiet when you want it to be and loud when you want to go fast.
