A collab between my brother and myself. He did the GTR and background. I did the Mustang. The whole thing is for a contest with the theme good vs evil so we put it together to let the viewer decide which is which. More than likely I will be doing an update to make the GTR look a little more AWD and in motion, maybe some background ideas that we worked on but didn't get done. Let me know what you guys think.

i think in its current state and with the colors used, it is suggesting that the gtr is good and mustang is evil, JMO

Change the GTR to a Prius and the Good v Evil becomes simple.
Of course the hippy types will see it differently than we would.

on the outside there is black and white, but there are a lot of mystery factors. Black on muscle cars (or any car for that matter) is thought of as sinister ... but that's a good thing most of the time. Then you have to wonder about the drivers, but we don't get to know anything about them or even see them. I think the Mustang sort of looks like the defender because of its position in the image and a defensive stance isn't usually the one chosen by evil. Mostly though, there isn't really an answer because someone who really loves tuners will like the GTR because they're awesome. On the other hand muscle car fans will like the Mustang because it's an icon really in the muscle car world. But as with any good vs evil there is side taking. Not everyone who likes muscle cars likes Fords or Mustangs but I think it adequately represents. Even non enthusiasts know a Mustang when they see one. Or .... :bsjerk: .... but I think it's interesting to get people's take on it.

i think it looks nice.. i would say some foreground detail and some background blurred detail would bring it to life.

Good should be a hybrid. I agree about that.
Beautiful artwork.

no, good and evil should be of almost equal caliber, and i think everyone agrees that a hybrid is much lower than a protouring late 60s mustang. same as if it were a civic instead of a gtr.
thank god you didnt use a 1st gen camaro, though.
personally i love it. but the more i look at it, the less i think it has a good vs. evil theme or look going for it.

That's a good call man. I'll do some thinking on that one.

Holy crap that is amazing!!!! I want a mural of that in my garage! only i disagree with the first gen comment. The mustang is sick.... but if it was 69 camaro.... oooh lala!

They're gonna hit each other. Then who wins?
Nice work!

That looks so awesome, great work! Except a GT-R can't do a burnout, like you said. Also, the Mustang looks a bit less detailed than the GT-R. Maybe a grill and some doorhandles and mirrors for it?

I think it's amazing work. The only suggestion I could offer would be to make the scene outside the windows in the background a red or angry orange gradient... the grayscale seems like they're in an office building to me. Very nice work!

Man, another very intriguing suggestion. You guys are good. Sometimes it gets to the point where you can't look at your own work as objectively as fresh eyes. Great comments!
