Ok these are newest toys for working on cars. My NEW Snap-On Vantage Pro graphing digital multimeter, and one for work and home, a Blue-Point/Mastercool Hydraulic flaring tool, it does GM fuel line connections, push connect, ISO/Bubble flare and Inverted flare up to 1/2" .
The flaring tool is so dope according to my buddy at work.
It is honestly the best investment in long time, because also I can use it on the Monza, use newer FI filter GM or Ford style and I can use it , and also when I bend up some new lines. So what you all think?

Yeah nearly 500 for flaring tool but the other day it took me over an hour to achieve good flares with elcheapo flaring kit at work they rent them out.
As for the Vantage Pro, it replaces an older Vantage with bleeding screen, and now new Vantage and my Solus Pro scanner use same rechargeable battery so 2 batteries and 2 charging setups!

The next time you head north of Indianapolis, bring that flaring tool with you. I have searched all over trying to find someone with that tool & no one has it.

I have that mastercool kit as well and it is one of the best timesavers I have ever bought. Perfect double flares everytime. I bought mine through Ebay back when Microsoft Live had the 30% rebates going to use their search engine. I paid like $250 delivered and could not pass it up. My next purchase will probably be a powerprobe kit.

That's it. You can also buy a 37 degree cone for it as well. Even though the other half of the die is 45 degree, the 37 degree cone will work well for AN hardline.

I personally love that flaring kit! Some of the guys at the shop were ragging on me for buying such an expensive flare tool, but for some reason mine is always the one that gets used??

I used to sell mechanic's tools, Mastercool makes many excellent products!

Well one thing is I had to finance off tool truck sooo it cost me more but guy I work with said he would have bought one for 460something like I did but found it online cheaper, but I am going to invest in 37 degree parts too.

Bill and Monza

Have either of you seen a tool that will flare AL tubing for the AC o-ring fittings?

I also have one of the flairing tools. I use it and a plastic line kit to run OE style fuel lines on projects all the time. They both are huge time savers. The plastic line kit also comes in very handy to repair screwed up lines on late model cars.

No on the AC fittings. I typically use specific oem parts/connectors from catalogs and if need be use a compression fitting type hose end and hook to what ever I need. Fun sometimes getting what I need but then AC work isnt for everyone.

Well I want one of the plastic line kits too but the nearly two grand on the Vantage Pro stopped me from getting other goodies.
Now as long as job keeps going or better one comes along(long story) I am ok I think.

when I worked for Ford dealer we had to use laptop with wireless, so got one, then went to Pep-tucky, so new Snap on dealer got me new toys added basically my Vantage Pro graphing multimeter and my hydraulic flaring tool.
So now I have new Solus Pro and my new Vantage Pro, and now newest tool for diagnostics an HP K5400 Office Jet Pro these new scanner/graphing meter can output to a printer and now I can take screen shots of problems, save them and print them out for customer!
Now IF I get big deal on 125mb,256mb and 512mb jump drive keychains to hand to customers with automtive info saved on them, just and interesting idea.
