Ok.. Here is my problem. I am working on a fuel injection system for a turbocharged engine, and my problem is that I want to use a blow-off valve and I was planning to use a MAF controlled batch fire system. My Question is where do you place the MAF sensor so that the blow off does not mess up the A/F ratio? can the sensor read boost pressures(can I put it after the turbo?)? or do I have to do something else? Help!
Thanks

I install blow through MAF SC systems all the time with no issues, just be sure to have at least 6-8 inches of straight tubing before the MAF sensor to get an accurate reading. It will not read boost as it does not have a pressure sensor, but can be effected by boost if not properly positioned.
The easiest is to put the BOV before the MAF and blow off to atmosphere. If you set it up as the MAF before the SC and draw the air through it, then the BOV needs to have the blow off air recirculated so you do not introduce any un-metered air into the system throwing off the tune.
Hope this helps.

Yes it does! I was wanting to do a blow through setup so I could vent into the atmosphere. But I didn't know if running the boost through it would mess up the readings. Thanks for the info!
