New 2" cowl hood [Archive] - Pro-Touring.com

Me and 130fe swapped hoods, his 2" cowl for my SS hood. I needed the additional clearance and he wanted an SS hood so it worked out well. Our cars are close to the same color but not exact. My car is getting painted in the next month, and 130fe is going to have my old hood painted to match his car. I still need to figure out an aircleaner ( offset base or something else) as mine does not fit into the round cowl on the hood.

Nice. I never could find a suitable base to get my air cleaner where I wanted it either. I ended up cutting one up and welding it back together.

Danny, give me a call today. I need to bring you a piece I forgot yesterday (maybe tomorrow). BTW, I got my hood installed also, just need to realign the hood latch. It's funny, your hood color change looks alot more subtle than mine does :smoke:Thread hijack over.....
