Welcome. Nice car. I used to have a 84 Cutlass and that was a comfy car! :)

Welcome! I recently sold my 88 which was very very similar to yours except white 42,000 miles. Sadly it's becoming a donk. I saw it yesterday and it was about 4-6 inches taller than stock. I'm sure it'll have 22's on it in another week.

Nice Olds! My first car was an 86 Cutlass. On my 3rd Olds now, being a 1969 Cutlass.

Enjoy it, and keep an Olds engine under the hood!!

Nice car James. Looks almost like mine except mine is slightly lighter blue and and 86 instead of an 88 like yours. Enjoy!

Welcome to PT

Welcome to the site, nice G-body, the coolest part of a sleepr like yours is the look on peoples faces when you car spanks theirs!
It looks like it was well kept too.

Hahaha... yeah i can't spank too many, but I keep all the V6 camaros in check.

It was well kept. I just removed all the 6" chrome from the bottom of my car, and thankfully there's very little rust where they usually have massive rust holes. Phew.

Thanks for all the welcomes, especially from the fellow g-body and cutlass owners!

I'm sad to hear that your old car is becoming a donk... It really annoys me that lowrider/donkers seek out the g-bodies to do this too. They need to stick to the Lincoln Towncars IMO.
Me -> :slap: <- Donkers

The Olds 307 will stay under the hood for a long time... Although I'm not sure it will have an Olds of any kind forever... The emissions "cut off year" for when the testing gets much more stringent is 1988 and even though I live in Prince George (northern British Columbia) which has no emissions testing, i would like the car to be able to pass emissions if necessary. This is why I am considering a stock-ish LS engine and T56 swap. I'm thinking that a mostly stock LS engine should be able to pass under the emissions standards for a feedback carbed 307... but that is all a long time down the road though. I'm going to focus on suspension first. Hopefully my prospective LS swap won't offend any resident Oldsmobile purists! :scared:

Sweet '69 Cutlass!

Welcome to the board. You could swap an Olds 350 or 403 in there I i'll bet no one would ever know. They don't check engine block numbers do they? That would be the easiest and cheapest way to get more HP.
